18ct and platinum Art Deco diamond ring made in France in the 1920’s

$0.00

This hand made 18ct and platinum Art Deco diamond ring made in France in the 1920’s, is just so elegant and refined, and would not only suit any finger, but also make a wonderful and very unique engagement ring.

Jewellers of the Art Deco period really knew how to embrace the wonderful quality of platinum that allows it to be drawn into a fine wire, all the while retaining so much strength to hold and support the diamonds. This can be seen in the setting at the top that has the most wonderful design and pierce work and the diamonds themselves are millgrain set which is the elegant crimping along the edge of the setting.

Sitting proud in the centre is a 0.22 carat early brilliant cut diamond that measures 0.22 carats. Then to add even more sparkle to the ring, there are four single cut diamonds and ten rose cut diamonds. These additional diamonds come together to total 0.11 carats and the top of the ring measures 11.3mm from left to right, by 10.7mm.

Even from the side there is a very beautiful design that showcases the quality and beauty of Art Deco rings and why they are so popular today as when they were made all those years ago.

This is a lovely example of a very attractive and neat Art Deco diamond ring that is perfect for any occasion.
