This is such an attractive and elegant watch that was made in 1911.
The watch has the most glorious enamelled case in a very soft blue that is still in wonderful condition even after all these years.
The case is made in 18ct yellow gold, and has the hallmark for 1911, and is a pin set watch, meaning that the crown is turned to wind the watch, then the small “pin” just below it near the 4 o’clock postion is pushed in and the crown turned to set the time.
The Swiss 15 jewelled movement has been fully serviced and is signed by the maker SS & Co for Stauffer, Son and Co, a Swiss pocket and wrist watch company that started in 1830.
Measuring 26mm across (29mm with the crown), and fitted on a new cordette band, this is a very elegant ladies watch from a time gone by.
