18ct French Art Nouveau diamond set locket

 The Art Nouveau period of the late 1800’s can so easily be characterised by the sensual lines and figures used as can especially be seen here in this wonderful French Art Nouveau diamond set locket of the 1890’s.

 Made in 18ct yellow gold this Art Nouveau brooch is made with the form of a woman with delightful “whip-lash” style lines flowing around the locket and further enhancing this photo locket is the 0.08ct rose cut diamond set into her headband.

 The locket measures 3cm across and is capable of holding a photo on both sides making this not only a delightful antique Art Nouveau pendant but a photo locket as well.
