Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's to the 1940's produced some incredible jewellery and here is a stunning Art Deco diamond bracelet that is sure to be admired and has all the characteristics of the Art Deco period.
Made in the 1920's, this Art Deco diamond bracelet was made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum and from end to end measures 18.7cm in length and is fitted with a safety clasp for added security.
The bracelet is made of a series of very refined and elegant 18ct yellow gold links with platinum on the top which looks so wonderful on the wrist, however it is the diamond set section in the centre which makes this a wonderful example of Art Deco jewellery.
This diamond set section is actually made up of the main piece in the centre with two more fully articulated diamond set sections on each side.
The total length of these five sections is 38.5mm by 6.2mm wide at the centre sections widest part.
Set with one 0.11 carat semi-modern cut diamond in the centre, there are also a further 20 rose cut diamonds set along these sections. These diamonds total 0.20 carats in weight and really add just the right amount of subtle and elegant sparkle to the bracelet.
Typical of so many fine Art Deco diamond bracelets, it was not simply a case for the jeweller of this time to set the diamonds in any way, rather there is the most divine pierce work pattern adding to the charm as well as the milgrain finish along the setting.
Milgrain finish is the wonderful crimping seen along the edge of the setting which was a typical finish on many Art Deco pieces of jewellery and adds to the characteristic of this bracelet.
This is a wonderful Art Deco diamond bracelet and one that will always be treasured for a lifetime.
