Here are a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that are so elegant and stylish and made in a style reminiscent of the 1920’s Art Deco era.
Made in 18ct white gold, each earring is set with one natural blue sapphire that is the most beautiful blue colour and really stands out against the white gold.
Surrounding each sapphire are the 16 round brilliant cut diamonds that sparkle magnificently, then there is one more diamond set at the top.
Both the sapphires and the diamonds are milgrain set which is the fine “crimping” that is seen around the border of the gemstones and was a technique typical of the jewellers of the Art Deco era of the 1920’s and 1930’s.
The sapphires have a total weight of 0.26 carats and the diamonds 0.34 carats, and the earrings measure 8.3mm across by 10.7mm from the bottom of the setting to the top of the extra diamond at the top.
Each earring is set on lever back fittings which are very secure and allows each earring to sit just under the earlobe and the dimensions of the earrings allows them to be worn all the time and are destined to really sparkle at night.
These are a magnificent pair of sapphire and diamond earrings and one pair of earrings that are sure to always be admired and loved.
