A diamond engagement ring should be so special and here is a truly magnificent 1920's Art Deco era diamond engagement ring that looks as regal and elegant now as when it was made nearly a century ago.
Beautifully hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, this Art Deco diamond engagement ring is set with a gorgeous antique cushion cut diamond. The cushion cut diamond was used for over 200 years from the 18th Century right up to the early part of the 20th Century and in recent years there has been a massive resurgence in the popularity of cushion cut diamonds, and there is nothing quite like a genuine cushion cut diamond that was cut by hand over 100 years ago.
This cushion cut diamond measures 1.35 carats and is a very white and clean diamond being F in colour and VS in clarity and has a wonderful sparkle to it combined with an elegant show.
Set on each side are four single diamonds to add that extra sparkle and elegance to an already very beautiful engagement ring.
From one side of the smaller diamonds across to the other, this distance measures 19.1mm by 6.9mm wide at the centre cushion cut diamond.
The platinum on the top leads to the yellow gold band and this ring sits so well on finger and will always be loved and admired.
Art Deco diamond engagement rings of the 1920's era have never gone out of fashion or style, and this Art Deco engagement ring is a good reason why.
