Entirely hand made in 18ct gold and platinum is this delightful Art Deco era emerald and diamond ring.
Dating from the 1920's, the design and way the diamonds have been set is amazing and even the side emeralds really highlights this ring magnificently.
In the centre is a vibrant green natural emerald that weighs 0.26 carats and is set amongst 12 diamonds in the most amazing pierce work setting.
The way the top has been pierced really shows when it is on the finger and the diamonds have been milgrain set which was typical of many Art Deco rings which can be seem as the elegant crimping along the edge of the setting.
The twelve diamonds total 0.24 carats and then to highlight this Art Deco ring even more there is a further emerald set on each side amongst platinum.
The attention to detail is what makes a hand made ring stand out from so many mass produced modern rings today and sitting flat on the finger also makes this a very practical and easy ring to wear.
The diameter of the top section is 12.3mm by 12.3mm and day or night this emerald and diamond Art Deco ring will always be treasured and admired.
