Here is a very beautiful Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring that is so attractive thanks to its design, being made in both 18ct gold and platinum and of course those vibrant blue natural sapphires and the sparkle from the diamonds.
All hand made, gold and platinum was a popular choice for the jewellers of the Art Deco period to as the platinum solders wonderfully with the gold and even when drawn very thin is still able to retain so much strength.
The ring is set with 6 diamonds in the top cluster with a further diamond on each side. The total wight of the diamonds is 0.40 carats and they look so good against the pure white colour of the platinum.
The 3 blue sapphires are all matched so well for colour and have that rich royal blue that is so sought after. They total 0.42 carats and really have a fantastic vibrant colour to them.
The ring measures 15.6mm across from one diamond on the band to the other by 9.2mm and really stands out on the finger.
Art Deco rings especially art deco sapphire and diamond rings as well as ruby and diamond rings are always so popular due to not only the colour of the gemstones but the durability of both the sapphires and the diamonds and this is a perfect example of an Art Deco era ring that can be worn all the time for any occasion even as a superb art deco engagement ring.
There is something so special about wearing a genuine Art Deco ring on your finger and this one will absolutely be admired every single time that it is worn.
