After Tutankhamen's tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in Egypt in 1922, the influence the styles had on jewellery was amazing – a whole new genre of was created including this wonderful Egyptian revival brooch.
Made in 14ct yellow gold and measuring 27mm x 23mm, it has enamelled wings, tail and head piece and is also set with 10 rose cut diamonds, and 4 rubies.
This Art Deco brooch is truly amazing and will always be commented on.
