This 1920's Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring would suit any finger including making a spectacular example of an Art Deco engagement ring.
Beautifully hand made in platinum, the setting highlights the quality of the diamonds and importantly the perfect blue colour of the sapphire. Claw set to allow the maximum amount of light to enter the gemstones, the Ceylonese sapphire in the centre is the most perfect cornflower blue colour and measures 1.75 carats in size.
With sparkle coming from the two European cut diamonds, each of these diamonds are over 1 carat in weight and total 2.16 carats.
Platinum is such a pure precious metal which was embraced by jewellers of the Art Deco period and as it is the purest white of all the metals really works well with the sapphire and diamonds.
From left to right the ring measures 17.4mm across by 8.5mm wide at the sapphire and sits just perfectly on the finger.
A lovely and elegant example of an Art Deco ring, this ring is sure to impress all who see it.
