The designs that were created in the Art Deco era were just fabulous as can be seen here in this elegant 1920s platinum Art Deco aquamarine and diamond ring.
So simple yet elegant in its design, this ring is set with a gorgeous natural aquamarine that measures 5.70 carats in weight. It has the most perfect blue colour to it that really stands out set into the pure white of the platinum. Platinum was the metal of choice during the Art Deco period thanks in part to its ability to be drawn into a fine wire and still retain its strength as well as being the purest of all the precious metals, allows it to remain pure white in colour.
Set on each side in a wonderful leaf design are three rose cut diamonds that total 0.06 carats, and from one end diamond across to the other side, this distance measures 19.4mm across. Measuring 14.1mm in length at the centre, this is a fabulous example of an Art Deco ring that would suit any finger and any occasion and is destined to continually be loved and admired.
