For many years Rolex have produced the very stylish Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust and made only minor changes over its history as the overall look and design of the watch is simply perfect, and here is one of the newer styles Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watches, the Rolex Datejust model 116234 with the newer style clasp, thicker white gold bezel and larger index markers on the dial to name but a few of the changes.
The newer style Rolex Jubilee band as is on this one here, has the fold over clasp now somewhat hidden under the jubilee links, resulting in a very smooth finish and overall feel to the Rolex.
The case which measures 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, and band are in stainless steel, however sticking to tradition the bezel is in 18ct white gold and is slightly thicker than the earlier model Rolex Datejust watches.
Fitted with the sapphire crystal with date magnifier, the silver dial has larger index markers than previous models as well as the very elegant and stylish black Roman numerals on the outside.
