The Rolex Milgauss is a superb watch and one that was re-introduced by Rolex in 2007 and here we have a 2008 Rolex Milgauss model 116400 that comes complete with box and papers.
The Rolex Milgauss was designed by Rolex to withstand magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss and is fitted with a Parachrom hairspring to resist magnetic fields and the entire movement is fitted in a Faraday cage. (The name Milgauss comes from the Latin word mille, which means one-thousand, and gauss the unit of a magnetic field).
Fitted in a stainless steel case that measures 40mm across plus the screw down Rolex crown and is 904L steel which is extremely hard and resistant to scratching as is the sapphire crystal.
