2009 black dial Rolex Milgauss reference 116400

$0.00

The Rolex Milgauss has a look and style to it that will allow it to be perfectly suited in the office, on the beach or where it was designed to go – an area of high magnetic filed, and here is a great looking 2009 black dial Rolex Milgauss reference 116400

With it distinct orange “lightning bolt” sweep second hand, set against the black dial as well as the white index markers with orange points, the Rolex Milgauss has a look that is unlike any other Rolex watch.

First introduced by Rolex in 1956, the Rolex Milgauss was designed for people who worked in an area of high magnetic field such as power plants and research labs where the magnetic filed could wreak havoc on the accuracy of the watch. To overcome this, the Rolex Milgauss was designed to withstand magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss and is fitted with a Parachrom hairspring to resist magnetic fields and the entire movement is fitted in a Faraday cage. (The name Milgauss comes from the Latin word mille, which means one-thousand, and gauss the unit of a magnetic field).

Fitted in the stainless steel Rolex Oyster case with the smooth high polish bezel that measures 40mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, and with the absence of a date and subsequent date magnifier window, the Rolex Milgauss has such a smooth and sleek look to it.

Fitted on the Rolex Oyster band that gives it a great sports look, this all comes together to give the Rolex Milgauss a look that is perfect for day or night and dress or casual wear.

The Rolex Milgauss is such a great looking and robust watch that it can truly go anywhere and never let you down.
