Here is one of the most iconic Omega watches that still looks as good in design today as it did all those decades ago - the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.
This Omega Speedmaster is model 3750.50 with the see through exhibition window in the back.
The stainless steel case measures 41.5mm (43mm with the crown) and sits and feels so nice on the wrist, and of course the back has the wonderful inscription of, "The first and only watch worn on the moon"
Inside is a manual wind (automatic watches don't work in space!) 18 jewelled Omega movement which is visible by the exhibition window.
The front is still protected by the hesalite crystal (hardened plexi) that was required by NASA as they did not want mineral crystal or sapphire crystal which would shatter in space if broken.
Complete with box and papers, this Omega Moonwatch was bought new in 2011 and is still one of the most iconic Omega watches around today.
