9ct rose gold antique Albertina made in the 1890’s
$0.00
Traditionally the Albertina, or leontine as it is also known as, was made to hold a ladies pocket watch on one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet and here is a very beautiful 9ct rose gold antique Albertina made in the 1890’s.
With the gorgeous rose gold that has such a wonderful tone to it, the links in this Albertina are just delightful to admire. With the end links different to the ones in the centre, the centre also has a gorgeous hand engraved section that adds to the charm and character.
And then there is the very attractive tassel made of foxtail links which has such a lovely tactile feel and texture to it. It is a combination of the different links, the tassel as well as the centre engraved section that all add up to make such a wonderful piece of jewellery.
Measuring 22.3cm from end to end, when worn as a bracelet it measures 21cm and can be adjusted smaller if needed.
Antique Albertina’s can also be attached to a chain to make a stunning necklace or joined to a second one to again make a necklace, making these not only versatile but also so very beautiful and special.
