In exceptional condition, this A. Lange & Söhne pocket watch was made in 18ct rose gold, with the colour of the gold having such a beautiful and warm colour to it that is made even more wonderful when you open the cover and reveal the mint condition white enamel dial.

Displaying numerals and sub-seconds, the dial is still so easy to read a century later and the mechanics of it are also in superb condition.

The solid 18ct rose gold case measures 52mm across by 74mm to the top of the bow and has a wonderful solid heft that feels wonderful in the palm of your hand.

This is a crown wind pin set pocket watch meaning that the movement is wound via the crown and the small lever pulled out near the 4 o’clock. However unlike all other lever set pocket watches that require you to push the lever back in, A. Lange & Söhne pocket watch eliminates this by elegantly pressing the top of the bow which will push the lever back in with the most discreet “click” to be heard.

Opening the back reveals the immaculate and high grade movement complete with a swan neck regulator and fully jewelled movement that is so beautiful to admire and appreciate the high quality expected from such an illustrious firm.

And to complete the package, this A. Lange & Söhne pocket watch not only comes with its original box, but under the second large section is a spare glass and under the small circle is a spare mainspring, and also its original papers and personal warranty from Adolf Oppermann who was the retailer of this pocket watch.
