This antique collar dates from the 1880’s, and have always been a popular form of jewellery. These antique Victorian era collars are often found in silver, so finding one in gold is a real treasure. Able to be worn on their own or with a locket at the bottom, they suit any time of the day or night.
Collars have been around since Egyptian times and were very popular in the late Victorian era as well as the choker style in the Art Deco era of the 1920’s to the 1940’s.
