Antique 15ct Regard locket

This particular Regard locket has Regard “spelt” out by a Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and a Diamond where the first letter of each gemstone is used to spell out the word Regard.

Made in the Victorian era of the 1880’s, the design of the heart itself is so sweet and romantic and made all the more special by being a Regard locket.

Measuring 19mm wide at the centre by another 19mm high or 24.9mm to the top of the bail where the chain would go through, it is the perfect size to wear all the time and will most certainly be commented on.

Even around the gemstones is a beautiful petal design with a turquoise in the centre which represented love and was Queen Victoria’s favourite colour.

The reverse side reveals a locket compartment that can be used for a photo of a loved one, making this Regard locket even more special and dear to the wearer.
