Made in 18 carat yellow gold, the ring is designed with a buckle motif which was a very popular design from the Victorian to the Edwardian era and at the buckle section at the front it measures 9.4mm and tapers down to 5.9mm wide at the back.
The engraving around the ring really exemplifies the quality and skill that the engraver had and is not only so beautiful to admire but also so tactile to touch, let alone feel so lovely on the finger.

This antique buckle ring was made in the Edwardian era and was entirely hand engraved. Whereas many engraved rings today are done by an electric drill, the time and skill needed to hand engrave is so much more superior than machine engraving.
