Here is an antique 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring made in 1905 that has such a sleek and contemporary design and look it, that looks as modern today as when it was made well over 110 years ago.
The band is so smooth and carries right up to the setting of the rubies and diamonds which are set lower into the top of the band. This is a style that will look so good on its own, or next to so many different styles of jewellery and always fit right in.
With lovely vibrant Burmese rubies that total 0.60 carats, they are all so well matched in colour and transparency and are such fine quality. And then there are the diamonds set on each side that total 0.40 carats and really sparkle magnificently. The rubies and diamonds are in such a wonderful proportion to each other and look amazing in the setting slightly lower than the top.
This is such a lovely example of a genuine antique ruby and diamond ring from the Edwardian era that will continue to look good well into the future.
