Hand made in 18ct yellow gold and dating from the early 1900's, these magnificent earrings measure an elegant 37.3mm in length by 8.7mm in diameter for the ruby and diamond cluster at the bottom.
The rubies have such a fine red colour to them all, and the lower rubies total 0.80 carats and the rubies set onto the chain total 0.50 carats. The colour and transparency of these rubies is just amazing and seem to have a glow all of their own.
And then with the nine European cut diamonds surrounding each ruby and the additional European cut diamond at the top adding a wonderful amount of scintillation, these diamonds come together to total 1.08 carats. The sparkle from these diamonds is just wonderful and will make these earrings continue to always be admired.
Fitted with secure lever back fittings, these antique ruby and diamond earrings are just magnificent and a real treasure to find.

Coloured by Chromium to give rubies their wonderful red colour, the finest rubies have always been from Burma/Myanmar.
