Turquoise has been prized for centuries and here is a magnificent example of an antique turquoise ring that was made in the late Victorian era of the 1890’s.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold, the ring is set with five pieces of natural turquoise that are all matched so well for colour. Today a lot of the turquoise is dyed whereas in this ring they are all completely natural.
From one side across to the other, this distance measures 15.5mm by 5.5mm at the centre making it sit so well on any finger.
With carved shoulders on each side to add an extra special charm and character to it, this is such a perfect example of an antique turquoise ring.
