Here is a spectacular antique diamond ring that looks sensational on the finger and is destined to be admired.
This ring would be suitable for any occasion including making a very fine antique diamond engagement ring.
All hand made in the early 20th Century, this ring is made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum. Platinum was just starting to be used for jewellery around this time and is the purest of all the metals used in jewellery and has the ability to be able to be drawn into a very fine wire as can be seen in the platinum coming from the centre diamond while all the while retaining its strength.
The ring is set with a total of nine very lovely antique cut European cut diamonds that has a total diamond weight of 2.26 carats.
This ring really sparkles on the finger and with its very attractive and unique design looks spectacular on the finger.
From left to right the ring measures 18.2mm across by 17mm from top to bottom, and all the diamonds are milgrain set which is the traditional bezel setting with the delightful crimping around the edge which was typical of the fine detail that jewellers used during this time and is another reason why antique diamond rings always seem to have that extra added charm and character associated with them.
From all angles, this is such a stunning antique diamond ring and one that would make a very dazzling antique diamond engagement ring.
