The style of the earrings are so typical of the mid-Victorian era, and each earring is set with an oval facetted amethyst among the most elegant design. With a design reminiscent of the rococo era of the 18th century, the earrings are made in 9ct yellow gold with both a matte and polished finish to the gold.
Each earring measures 19.7mm wide at its widest section by 46.5mm to the top of the scalloped design top or 51.9mm to the top of the long and secure shepherd hooks.
