Sitting perfectly on the neck, this antique aquamarine and pearl necklace is one that will always be admired.
Dating from the early 1900's it is made in 9ct rose gold and set with four lovely evenly matched aquamarines that all have such a wonderful soft blue colour to them with the largest one in the centre making a wonderful statement. In total there are 8.70 carats of aquamarines that will all be admired for their colour, beauty and clarity.
Highlighted with seven pearls, the design of this necklace has characteristics of both the Art Nouveau style and early Edwardian jewellery.
Laid out from end to end the necklace measures 38cm and the actual scroll work design measures 6cm across and has an elegant drop length of 5.8cm making it stand out beautifully on the neck.
The warmth of the rose gold matches so well with the pure blue of the aquamarines and highlighted with the pearls really makes this such an elegant antique necklace to love and wear all the time.
