Here is a spectacular antique beryl and garnet ring from the 1860's that looks incredible both on and off the finger.
Made in 18ct yellow gold in a design so typical of the mid-Victorian times, this ring is set with a stunning garnet in the centre with a yellow beryl on each side.
Beryl is a natural gemstone from the same family as emerald and aquamarine and in these stones have a wonderful light yellow colour with a hint of green that really makes it so mesmerising.
With work down the side that is nothing short of spectacular, the ring measures 13.1mm across from one beryl to the other by 7.7mm wide at the garnet.
This is such an elegant and regal antique ring and one that will continue to be such a talking point every single time that it is worn and viewed.
