Here is a truly amazing antique ring set with bloodstone, ruby and diamonds.
Made in Chester in 1901 in 9ct rose gold, in recent years rose gold has once again become so popular and sought after thanks to its wonderful soft rose colour that always looks so good on the finger.
Set with a rounded piece of bloodstone, this is a natural material that has a green body colour with flecks of red similar in appearance to blood on a stone hence its name.
Then set onto this is a star pattern set with six rose cut diamonds and then sitting proudly in the centre is a natural red ruby.
The bloodstone piece itself measures 10.3mm in diameter and really sits so well on any finger.
With beautiful claw work and detail on the sides, this is such a character filled antique ring and one that is so unique.
Hallmarked: Chester 1901
