Aronson and Co were one of Australia's most influential and prolific jewellers of the the late 1800's up until 1930 and the jewellery produced by them has remained as one of the most collectable for antique collectors.
This one was made around 1900 in 9ct and is set with 4 pearls and one ruby in such an attractive and elegant design.
Measuring 5cm in length by 1.2cm wide at its widest part in the centre, the design of this brooch allows it so easily to be worn parallel on an outfit or even at an angle and always look so attractive.
The rich colour of the gold colour will allow it to be worn against any colour outfit day or night and always be admired.
Early Australian jewellery is becoming so highly sought after and this antique brooch will certainly be no exception.
