What a romantic scene in this antique cameo.
Dating from the late 1800's, this wonderful cameo measures 4cm x 5.6cm, and has a beautiful scene of a Roman soldier embracing his lover in such a romantic pose.
This is a really beautiful cameo that just seems to capture a moment of history in its carving.
You can see so much detail from his are wrapped around her waist, to the both of them looking into each others eyes with so much love.
A wonderful antique cameo that will always be admired.
