Carriage clocks were originally designed by Abraham-Louis Breguet for Emperor Napoleon in 1812, as a method to transport a clock all the while keeping superb accuracy and timekeeping, and here is an attractive antique carriage clock from the early 1900’s.
In fully restored condition, the case has been polished and sealed to its wonderful former glory and the French made 8 day movement has been fully serviced and comes with our twelve month warranty.
Measuring 10.8cm tall or 14.8cm to the top of the handle, by 8cm wide and 6.5cm deep, the aesthetics of a carriage clock so easily allow them to be placed into any room and always look fresh and up to date.
With the original beveled glass on all sides and the top which allows you to see the wonderful movement, the which enamel dial is so easy to see and read with the black Roman numerals on display.
This lovely antique carriage clock would easily suit any room in the house as well as making a wonderful gift especially for that hard to buy for person in your life.
