Here is a truly stunning and very unique ring that will always be admired every time that it is worn.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold in the late Victorian era of the 1890's, sitting proud in the centre is a beautiful natural chrysoberyl cats eye stone that looks magnificent day or night. Chrysoberyl cat's eye displays a wonderful phenomenon called "chatoyancy" resulting in an amazing reflective line running across the gemstone. This phenomenon looks so incredible day or night and the colour of the chrysoberyl has a wonderful colour and tone to it that stands out even more by being surrounded by fourteen rose cut diamonds. The chrysoberyl measures 4.10 carats and the diamonds total 0.42 carats and the ring measures 12.8mm in diameter on the top.
And then looking from the side, the setting of the diamonds is just incredible and have been set in a style reminiscent of jewellery found in the Georgian period of the late 1700's to the early 1800's. The details and craftsmanship that went into this ring is just extraordinary and shows the level of attention that went into making this ring all those years ago.
So special and unique, this antique ring is just incredible and will no doubt always be loved, cherished and admired.
