No matter where or when this is worn, there is no denying that this antique coral and diamond locket is quite simply spectacular and sure to be admired every single time that it is worn.
Dating from the Victorian period of the 1870's, this locket was made in 15ct rose gold and the design on the front alone is breathtaking with the rich orange colour coming from the coral which is complimented by the colour of the rose gold and then this is enhanced by the three rows of diamonds in a spectacular swirl design.
In total there are eighteen diamonds with a total weights of 0.24 carats and these three rows are set opposite three other rows with their own Etruscan detail. It is this detail and craftsmanship that truly makes a genuine antique piece of jewellery so special and unique.
And then turning the pendant over reveals a locket compartment for a photo of a loved one making this even more personal to the wearer.
Measuring 22.4mm in diameter by 31.1 to the top of the bail for the chain, this antique coral and diamond locket is just magnificent and will be made all that more personal by having a photo of a loved one in the back.
