Here is a lovely antique coral and pearl ring that has the most elegant and refined work on the sides matched beautifully in quality with the natural coral and pearls and all dating from the Victorian era of the 1870's.
Made in 18ct gold, this ring is set with seven natural pearls and seven natural pink coral in a lovely curved design. The pink and white work so well together and really suit the yellow gold.
On the side of the band the ring has a very sweet scroll design that flows so nicely and where the pearls start on one side across to the end of the coral on the other, this distance measures 14.3mm across by 8mm wide at the centre and is so comfortable on the finger.
From this age, the coral would have come from Italy and also from this age has not been dyed or stained as much of the coral today is.
Made in England during the Mid-Victorian period, this antique coral and pearl ring is just so lovely and elegant.
