Made in the late 1800’s in the form of a swallow in 15ct gold and silver, the bird is set with 13 vibrant old cut diamonds with two rubies in the eyes.
The diamonds total 0.78 carats and have all the charm and character of lovely hand cut diamonds which are so popular now.
At the end of the brooch is a pearl that finishes of the look of the brooch so well.
From left to right the brooch measures 52mm in length by 22.2 at the bird.
Fitted with a safety chain for added security, this is such an attractive and elegant antique diamond brooch that is so charming.
