Antique diamond buckle bangle made in 15ct gold in the early 1900’s. This buckle design was a popular motif of the late Victorian and Edwardian period of the 1880’s to the early 1900’s. 15ct gold was a British standard of gold that was used for a relatively short period in time from 1854 to 1931 making it quite popular among collectors of antique jewellery.
