What could be more romantic than a genuine antique diamond engagement ring adorning your finger, and here is a very lovely antique diamond engagement ring made in the Edwardian era.
Made in 18ct yellow gold in Chester in 1909, this is a delightful example of a genuine antique diamond engagement ring from whatever angle you look at it.
Sitting proudly across the finger are the five lovely old European cut diamonds that total 0.67 carats. The diamonds are G to H in colour and Vs to Si in clarity meaning that they are white diamonds with no eye visible inclusions and have all the charm from also being hand cut over a century ago.
From left to right the ring measures 15.5mm and at its widest point where the centre diamond is, it measures 5.05mm.
Then there is of course the lovely hand carved scroll work on each side running down the band and then the truly delightful scroll work on the side of the ring which adds so much charm to this engagement ring and is a great example of why women worldwide still love to wear a very beautiful and elegant antique diamond engagement ring on their finger such as this.
The Edwardian era was a lovely era to start the 20th Century and owning and wearing an Edwardian era antique diamond engagement ring is just so special.
