Wearing an antique diamond ring is so special and unique and there is nothing quite like wearing an antique diamond engagement ring that you now is all hand made and a true one of a kind such as this fine example of an antique diamond engagement ring dating from the early 1900's and so easy to wear.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold, this diamond engagement ring is made in the traditional style of having 5 diamonds in line. However as with all antique diamond rings, it is the small features that makes them so unique and special especially to the wearer.
In this engagement ring there are 5 vibrant old European cut diamonds that have a total diamond weight of 0.52 carats and are G in colour and Si in clarity.
All of this means that the diamonds have 58 facets, or cuts, just as a modern brilliant cut diamond, but as they were all hand cut have different angles to the modern brilliant cut diamond, giving so much more charm and personal character in the old cut diamonds.
They are all in the white range for colour and don't have eye visible inclusions and the sparkle from this ring is just wonderful.
However it is not just the diamonds that makes an antique ring so special. It is also the fine detail as can be seen on the side of this diamond ring that is delightful and what an antique diamond engagement ring is about - having that something "extra" that so many mass produced modern diamond engagement rings simply do not have.
Although there are some very nice modern engagement rings, it is the charm and unique character of an antique engagement ring that continues to make them so popular and sought after.
From left to right, the ring measures 14.5mm across and the design of this engagement ring is perfect to allow a wedding band to sit right up next to it.
If you love antique engagement rings as much as we do, then try this one on and say "yes"!
