Here is an absolutely charming antique pendant dating from the late Victorian era that looks divine thanks to the combination of enamel, a diamond and of course the heart shape itself.
Made in 18ct gold, this heart shaped pendant will look so charming around the neckline on a chain and is wonderfully enamelled in blue leading to the outer edge of white. The enamel alone is just magnificent however it is of course highlighted by the sparkle of the diamond in the centre.
The heart measures 13.3mm from left to right by 14.6mm or 20.8mm from the bottom to the top of the bail where the chain passes through and is a very easy size and form to wear all the time, day or night.
On the back it is hand engraved with “June 16th 1895” which by the form of the heart and bright enamel means that this would have been likely to be given for a birthday or wedding day.
This late-Victorian era enamel heart pendant is so charming and so sweet as well as being incredibly beautiful and romantic all at the same time.
