Here is such an attractive and very unique antique garnet and emerald ring dating from the 1860's and destined to be admired and commented on every time it is worn.
Not only is it set with a garnet, but it was cut as two entwined hearts that of course symbolised love especially during this time that was referred to as the "Romantic Period" of Queen Victoria's reign.
Made in 15ct gold, it is set with an emerald on each side set amongst a wonderful Gothic revival style band typical of the 1860's.
Then there is the compartment for a lock of hair of a loved one on the inside of the ring making it even more special and romantic.
This is a truly unique and special antique ring with not only history but romance as well.
