Antique garnet ring with a secret locket compartment

Here is such a unique and wonderful ring – a fabulous antique garnet ring with a secret locket compartment on the reverse side.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold in the 1890’s, the ring is set with a cabochon cut garnet that has such a wonderful deep rich burgundy colour that is set into the centre where the band is designed in a double row that splits and goes around the garnet in such an elegant flowing design.

At the centre is measures 9.7mm wide making it so easy and comfortable to wear all the time, and then of course when the ring is turned over it shows the secret locket on the reverse side.

This wonderful feature exemplifies why there is nothing quite like a genuine antique ring, as well as showing how much thought, care and attention went into hand making this ring over 130 years ago.
