Antique golden sapphire and pearl fringe necklace

Here is a truly magnificent antique golden sapphire and pearl fringe necklace that dates from the 1890's and looks spectacular around the neck.

Sapphires come in every colour except red, and one of the rarest colours are the golden sapphires such as the ones set into this necklace. Designed with five drop fringes that are joined by a row of seed pearls, in total there are eight sapphires and 44 pearls.

Laid out from end to end, the necklace measures 44cm and where the first golden sapphire is set  across to the other one on the other end, this distance measures 14cm across.

Made in 9 carat rose gold which has the colour that matches so well with both the sapphires and pearls, this is such an amazing antique necklace like no other.
