Antique green tourmaline and diamond brooch

Tourmaline comes in a range of colour and the depth and intensity in this antique green tourmaline and diamond brooch is just incredible and destined to always be admired from near or far.

Hand made in 15 carat rose gold in the early 1900’s, sitting proudly in the centre is the green tourmaline which measures 0.80 carats and is surrounded by fourteen antique mine cut diamonds. This cluster of diamonds highlights the tourmaline so well, and these diamonds total 0.32 carats.

Then set both below the cluster and at each end are a total of thirteen antique European cut diamonds that come together to total 1.05 carats. This clever use of two cuts of diamonds in this brooch show how much thought was put into making this when it was made over 100 years ago.

Measuring 16.6mm wide in the centre by 40mm across, worn horizontal or at and angle on any outfit, there is a perfect brooch to wear day or night.
