Hallmarked for being made in Chester in 1895, this antique bangle was made in 15ct gold which is a carat of gold that ceased being used in 1931, making this bangle even more special.
Being hinged will allow this bangle to sit nice and close to the wrist, and it measures 6.8mm wide at the top by 4.4mm wide at the back and also has an ingenious locking device on the clasp combined with the safety chain, making it very secure and comfortable to wear all the time.
The clasp works by pressing on the back of the hinge section, releasing a section securely holding the tongue section in and is as secure today as when it was made over a century ago.
Perfect for day or night, this antique hinged bangle is just divine and so elegant and refined.
