While not everyone likes antique mourning rings, there is no denying that they can be so beautiful and a wonderful reminder of a loved ones passing, and this Victorian era antique mourning ring is so beautiful and still in fantastic condition even after 140 years.
Made in Birmingham in 1869 this ring is made in 18ct yellow gold and set with 6 natural pearls surrounding a rose cut diamond.
However it is the wonderful enamel work on both sides that is truly beautiful. Going across it spells out, "In memory of" and has the most intricate hand engraving between the enamel.
This antique mourning ring looks so delightful on the finger and is a wonderful look at a bygone era.
