There is something so special about wearing an antique ring and here is a truly delightful antique ring dating from the late Georgian period of the 1830's.
Made in 18ct yellow gold, the ring is set with a hand carved piece of onyx in the form of a forget-me-not flower.
Onyx is naturally banded black and white and the carving has really made the most use of this.
On each side the rings are set with pearls which go so well with the black and white from the onyx.
From the end of one pearl and going across to the other this part measures 13.7mm across by 7mm wide at the centre of the ring.
Then the sides of the ring has the most wonderful scroll work which is so typical of a fine antique ring from this era.
This antique ring sits so well on the finger and looks incredibly charming.
