Antique lockets have a style and character all of their own and here is a stunning and very elegant antique locket made in 15ct yellow gold and onyx and set with diamonds and a pearl.
Dating from the late Victorian time of the 1890’s, the locket is made in onyx with an 15ct yellow gold and enamel bail at the top.
The centre of the locket is beautifully set with a pearl surrounded by 10 rose cut diamonds.
On the reverse side is a compartment to hold a photo that would of course make this locket so personal and dear to the wearer.
Measuring 38.6mm across, it measures 66mm from the bottom to the very top or 50mm for just the oval section and not the top bail.
The condition of this antique locket is incredible and can still so easily be worn on a daily basis.
