Dating from the 1880's comes this very beautiful antique opal and diamond pendant that sits so well on the neckline and is destined to be continually admired and appreciated every single time that it is worn.
So finely hand made in 15ct rose gold and sterling silver, it was known that a diamond will always look better set against a white background over yellow gold and as white gold was not yet invented, this is why the silver was used on the top.
Set with a total of thirteen solid opals that are all matched perfectly together, it is further highlighted with eighteen diamonds on the main section and a further four on the top bail.
These diamonds really add the right amount of scintillation without overshadowing the beauty of the opals and measuring 29.9mm across by 40.7mm from the bottom to the top of the bail, sitting on the right chain on the neckline will really make this elegant antique pendant stand out day or night.
