Here is a very beautiful and elegant antique opal and pearl necklace dating from the early 1900's that sits perfectly on the neckline and will make any woman feel like a princess when this is around her neck.
Made in 9 carat rose gold, it is set with solid Australian opals incorporating a crescent design in the centre which i often seen in late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery. With the six opals beautifully matched in colour, the pearls highlight the piece so well.
Laid out from end the necklace measures 42cm in length and from where the gold starts for the opal and pearl section, this part measured 7cm in length. The drop part measures 3.5cm and this is the perfect length to wear against the neckline.
