Here is an antique photo locket that is so beautiful on the outside that it is sure to be admired when people see the lovely detail, and then will be all the more personal when photos of people you love and care for are placed inside.
Made in sterling silver in 1880, even the fact that it is over 140 years ago and still so beautiful and in wonderful condition will surprise so many, and when the front scene is looked at, there is no doubt that all who see it will fall in love with it.
On the front is the most charming scene of a swallow chasing a butterfly that was expertly engraved by hand. This is such a wonderful scene that is complimented by the etched design on the side and star patterns on the border with the silver balls on the outside of the locket.
Measuring 35.2mm across by 41.5mm, or 58.5mm to the top of the large bail for a chain to pass through, inside it can hold two photo's that once placed inside, will make this so much more special and personal for the owner.
This is such a fantastic example of an antique locket that looks as beautiful on the outside as it does from inside.
